I know, some of you don’t think there is a reason to be or stay stuck.
In fact, all you want to do is get unstuck! But there is always at least one good reason to be stuck, and once you discover it, you can eliminate it. And then voila, no more suffering from being stuck!
How do I know there is a good reason to be stuck? Because you are human, and like the rest of us, if you didn’t have a good reason for your behavior, you wouldn’t bother doing it at all.
So how do you uncover this reason so you can eliminate it? (Hint, 99% of the reasons are fear-based.) Answer these questions first…
- If you succeed, what are you afraid of?
- If you succeed, how will others react?
- What is the “downside” of succeeding?
- If you become unstuck, what might happen?
- What is the “upside” of staying stuck?
These questions usually reveal the real fears that are causing you to stay stuck, even though you hated being stuck! Answers usually sound like this:
- I’m afraid my success will cause too much change
- I need to protect myself from their jealous reactions
- If I succeed, I will feel too much pressure
- My success might rock the boat
- Staying stuck keeps me invisible
When you find out why you’re actually conflicted about being successful, then you can heal that conflict and actually move forward both personally and professionally.
We know that one of the fastest ways to neutralize fear and create more positive outcomes is by using EFT/ Tapping.
I invite you to tap along with me below:
Side of Hand: Even though I’m afraid of standing out and being visible, so I stay stuck, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway… Even though I’m afraid of their reactions to my success, I accept who I am and how I feel… Even though I’m afraid my success will rock the boat, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway!
