Listen to a companion tapping: (Download MP3)

You may have thought I was referring to your closet, your desk, or maybe your garage, but I’m not talking about those spaces.

I’m talking about cleaning up that emotional conflict that keeps getting in your way. You know what I’m talking about, it keeps causing resistance in your life.

This conflict – this resistance – keeps resurfacing in your relationships, on the job, in your family life, or maybe even with your body and health. (Is it coming into focus now?)

Is the conflict around a resentment? A frustration? A fear of the unknown?

What is this conflict that you know in your heart you need to clean up?

Another good question is: Why haven’t you cleaned it up yet?

Maybe you’re afraid of the topic, or avoiding it, or you’ve been “too busy” in your mind.

Maybe you think someone else should be cleaning it up.

But… it’s time.

I invite you to take this opportunity to clean it up now. The energy in the world is shifting dramatically, time feels different, emotions are all jumbled up, nothing feels very stable right now, so it’s a great time to choose to clean up a conflict that is disturbing your peace. The positive results will reach into all parts of your life.

Just acknowledging that you have a conflict to clean up eases it a little bit.

Choose the conflict, identify the emotion, and clean it up with tapping.

Try out these Tapping sequences below:

Side of Hand: Even though I’ve been avoiding cleaning up this conflict, I choose to face it head on now. Even though I’m afraid to deal with this conflict, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway. Even though I’ve been resisting dealing with this conflict, I accept who I am right now.

Eyebrow: I’ve been afraid to deal with this emotional conflict
Side of Eye: I’ve been avoiding this emotional conflict
Under Eye: I’ve been afraid to face this emotional conflict
Nose: It scares me
Chin: I can feel the resistance
Collarbone: I avoid the resistance
Under Arm: I’m afraid to face my resistance

Take a deep breath, appreciate yourself for acknowledging this emotional conflict, and try these more encouraging phrases below:

Eyebrow: I choose to heal and release this emotional conflict

Under Eye: I can face and heal this conflict I’ve been avoiding
Nose: I know I am strong enough to heal this conflict
Chin: I’m ready to release this emotional conflict
Collarbone: It’s about time I heal this emotional conflict
