If you looked at your daily schedule and your “to do” list, you might find tasks and appointments that drain your energy. Sure, there may be things you need to do, but where’s the list of activities that would refresh you?

It’s so common to get into habits where you’re pushing yourself, racing around, and basically forgetting to take care of yourself. If you’re not committed to Do Something Refreshing, you won’t… But it’s time to change that pattern.

It’s time to get inspired to Do Something Refreshing. I know from personal experience that it’s way too easy to ignore refreshing activities until I don’t feel well, until I’m overwhelmed, or I’m exhausted and then I remember, “Right, I’ve been pushing myself too hard.”

The benefits of being able to Do Something Refreshing are inumerable and obvious, so I’m just here to remind you that you need to Do Something Refreshing every day. Suffice it to say that if you intend to extend your good mood, increase your ability to serve others, improve your deep sleep and your overall well-being, it will serve you enormously to Do Something Refreshing.

The good news is that what refreshes you is an individual and personal choice, and may be completely different than what refreshes me. That’s great – you get to choose what would refresh you. I highly recommend choosing activities (or non-activities) that refresh you in a deep way, even if they wouldn’t refresh your best friend. This week, sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds is refreshing me. That would bore some of you, but it’s what I need.

So change that pattern of pushing yourself without a break and Do Something Refreshing. Enjoy renewing the connection with yourself and with your inner guidance. Put yourself first by committing to Do Something Refreshing. Your life will feel more graceful and easy, and more abundance will show up for you through a variety of channels.

Below you will find EFT/Tapping setup phrases to help you be inspired to release your blocks to being able to attract what you want into your life.

While tapping the karate chop spot on either hand, repeat these first phrases out loud, (or change the words to fit your exact situation). Then proceed to the additional phrases while tapping on the indicated points. (If you are new to EFT, please view information and directions.)

The EFT SETUP Phrases for this topic are as follows:

“Even though I don’t know how to Do Something Refreshing for myself, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway.”

“Even though I think I need to keep pushing myself to get things done, I deeply love and accept myself.”

“Even though I feel safer when I’m busy doing something, I accept and appreciate all my feelings.”

I have indicated where to tap while saying each of the phrases below. You may repeat the positive round more than once if you wish.

***Below are the phrases that focus on the problem***

Eyebrow: “I don’t really know how to take time for myself.”

Side of Eye: “I’m not even sure what would refresh me.”

Under Eye: “I’m so accustomed to being on the go…”

Nose: “I don’t know if it’s good for me to focus on refreshing myself right now.”

Chin: “I think I can get away without doing this…”

Collarbone: “I’m too busy to refresh myself anyway.”

Under Arm: “Is it worth it to Do Something Refreshing?”

Head: “But I’m afraid to stop doing things that seem useful.”

***Now for the positive focus on the solution***

Eyebrow: “I want to want to Do Something Refreshing.”

Side of Eye: “It’s sad that I don’t even know what that would be…”

Under Eye: “It’s probably a good idea… but what to do…”

Nose: “I want to choose to Do Something Refreshing.”

Chin: “I want to feel inspired to Do Something Refreshing.

Collarbone: “I’m inspired to take care of myself in this way.”

Under Arm: “I’m looking forward to feeling refreshed.”

Head: “I choose to Do Something Refreshing right now.”


Access more positive vibrations with the Law of Attraction by repeating the following phrases (while tapping or not):
