Everyone is talking about gratitude – the positive effects for our lives – but how many of you are consistently expressing it to yourself or others?

I absolutely love the Thanksgiving holiday – no need to worry about gifts, giving or receiving, I don’t travel by plane, and I love focusing on appreciation for all the blessings in my life.

So, how hard could it be to express gratitude on a daily basis?

Apparently, it’s surprisingly hard to express gratitude, either privately or to others, in a consistent way. Every week someone else tells me they “forgot” to do their gratitude list, or they didn’t feel like it…

This simple newsletter is to acknowledge that expressing gratitude can be a challenge, we do sometimes “forget”.  Below I will help you do some tapping to help you strengthen your attitude of gratitude!

Don’t forget to ask yourself why you are resisting expressing gratitude:

  • What’s in your way?
  • Why would you “forget” when you know how good it feels?
  • Is there any downside to expressing gratitude?
  • Do you get a benefit from avoiding it?

These questions will help you uncover why you might be resistant to doing this practice that is simple and that has been proven to have positive benefits!

I invite you to tap along with me to help clear these conflicts:

Side of Hand: Even though I’ve been avoiding my gratitude list, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway… Even though I keep forgetting to express my gratitude, I accept who I am and how I feel… Even though I’ve been resisting expressing gratitude, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway!
