It is my choice to be present or not, and it is your choice to be present or not. While there are numerous distractions on a regular basis that we could “blame” for keeping us from being present, it is still up to each of us to make this choice on a daily basis.

Whether you’re feeling good, feeling bad, you’re on the phone, in a conversation, watching tv, or in nature… are you really present?

#1) Do you know what it feels like to be present? If you don’t know the difference between being present and being distracted or off focus, you might be unaware of just how unaware you are!

#2) Do you know what distracts you? I invite you to explore and identify what distracts you and how often and easily you get distracted. What gets your attention? Other people? Drama? Being overwhelmed? Vibrational clutter?

#3 ) Are you afraid to be present for any reasons? If you can admit or identify that you are actually afraid to be present, then you can take the steps to heal and release this fear easily and quickly. What are you afraid of feeling? Why would you be so afraid to be present with yourself and your emotions?

These are all important questions. Once you identify why you haven’t been as present as you intend to be, you can do something about it. The blocks may be small and out of your awareness or huge and glaring, but they are all worth accepting and then shifting with EFT.

Why do I care about helping you to be more present? Because I believe that being present will change your life for the better. It did mine. And the topic is “up” this month because so many clients have told me that they are so overwhelmed this season that they can’t be present, even though they truly want to be.

When I asked them if they could “choose” to be present on a regular basis, they felt hopeful and excited that there was a way to feel more empowered in this process and actually make a difference.

When you are willing to Choose to Be Present, the universe will “hear” that you are committed to this energy, even if sometimes you don’t succeed. The universe will help you by delivering opportunities that get you lined up with the intentions you have, such as being more present.
