What is the downside of having more money?
You may consciously want more income, more freedom, or greater financial success. But when you imagine having more money and other people noticing, part of you may feel scared instead of excited.
Maybe someone became jealous, critical, demanding, or distant the last time you upleveled financially. Maybe having more brought pressure, requests, conflict, or the feeling that it was no longer safe to stand out. Your nervous system may have learned that more money could cost you comfort, connection, or belonging.
No wonder you might get in your own way. This does not mean you do not want more or that you are deliberately blocking your success. Staying where you are may feel protective when part of you expects other people's reactions to put you in danger.
EFT Tapping can help you work with that fear without forcing yourself to ignore what happened. Notice how intense "I'm afraid to have more money" feels, and how true the belief "staying where I am is safer" feels. See whether a particular person or past experience comes to mind.
You do not have to take responsibility for everyone else's response to your financial life. You can decide what you discuss, what you share, what you give, and where you need a limit.
Your next yes is to choose one small boundary with friends or family that would help you feel safer earning or having more money.
The rewire is from "More money will put my relationships in danger" to "I can have more money, honor my boundaries, and let other people be responsible for their reactions."
Tap with me and notice whether having more can begin to feel safer when you know you do not have to abandon yourself.
