How do you really feel about wealthy people?
What happens in your body when you see someone spending a lot of money or living with visible wealth? Do you feel uncomfortable, angry, resentful, or judgmental? What do you say to yourself about who they are?
If you are convinced that wealthy people are greedy, shallow, selfish, or unethical, becoming wealthy may feel like becoming someone you do not respect. No wonder part of you might hold back. You may want more money consciously while your nervous system is trying to protect you from becoming "one of them" or being resented by other people.
These beliefs were learned somewhere, and some may be connected to real behavior you witnessed. This is not about pretending that every wealthy person is generous or admirable. It is about noticing when specific experiences have become a belief about everyone with money.
EFT Tapping can help you work with both the resentment and the fear. Notice how intense "I do not want to become like them" feels, and fill in the blank: "Wealthy people are _." Then ask where you learned that belief and whether money itself determines a person's character.
You can become wealthy and remain kind, generous, stable, honest, and grounded. Your values do not have to disappear as your financial circumstances change.
Your next yes is to write down the qualities you would want to embody if you became very wealthy. You might also remember one generous thing a wealthy person has done for you or for others.
The rewire is from "People with money are bad, so I do not want to become one of them" to "Money does not decide my character. I can become wealthy and live the values I respect."
Tap with me and notice whether wealth feels more available when becoming wealthy no longer means becoming someone you reject.
