Do you keep going back and forth on a decision, telling yourself, "I'm not sure" or "I don't know"?
Avoiding decisions is the symptom. The hidden block underneath it may be fear of being clear.
Clarity can have consequences. Once you know what you want, you may feel that you have to act. Your decision could bring more success, change a relationship, put you in the spotlight, or upset someone you care about.
Staying wishy-washy or in the gray area can feel safer. Nothing has to change.
No wonder part of you avoids getting clear.
Think of one decision you have been postponing and imagine being crystal clear without doing anything yet. What happens in your body? How much fear do you feel from zero to ten?
What do you expect clarity to trigger? Perhaps you fear having to act, upsetting someone, becoming more successful, or being more visible.
EFT Tapping can help you work with the fear that clarity will create a problem. You are not pretending there will be no consequences. You are reducing the emotional charge so you can see what is true and handle what comes next.
Most importantly, clarity does not require immediate action. You do not have to make a dramatic change today. Your next yes may simply be admitting what you already know.
The rewire is from "If I am clear, I will have to act and someone will be upset" to "I am allowed to be clear first, give myself time, and choose my next step when I am ready."
If part of you is ready, tap along and notice how one decision becomes clearer when you no longer feel pressured to take an action right away.
