Imagine Better Outcomes?
I wonder how much abundance
would flow into your life…
Aren’t you tired of expecting the worst, preparing for disaster, and bracing yourself for bad news? I certainly got tired of it, so I started playing with my energy and raising my expectations by using my imagination. It was quite a stretch for me to change this old pattern, so I know it will be challenging for many of you as well. If you were taught to expect and prepare for the worst as a way to “protect” yourself, then this behavior will be brand new and will feel strange or even unsafe at first.
This tool is very similar to one of my recent newsletter topics, Tell a New Story… but it’s different enough that it may inspire more of you to move into this kind of playful energy.
The only way I can comfort you if you feel really afraid of my suggestion to Imagine Better Outcomes is to let you know that the results can be miraculous, the relief will be palpable, and the energetic shifts for me have been inspiring. And of course, there’s EFT and tapping to get you through the rough spots!
As far as getting those new possible outcomes outlined for myself, I prefer to write about them and then tap for any blocks or “that will never happen for me” feedback from my mind. As far as writing them out, it’s as simple as it sounds:
(1) Get a notebook, and at the top of your page, write down the challenge you are experiencing. (For example: My boss gave me an impossible deadline that I’ll never meet… or I’m being interviewed for a job and I’m not prepared yet… or I have that family meeting next week – they never go well!… or My biggest client said he was considering ending our contract…)
(2) Then write down the typical negative expectations you hold regarding the outcome to this problem (I can’t possibly meet that deadline and I’ll probably be fired… I’ll probably ruin the interview, I’ll never get that job… Family meetings never go well… I’ll probably never be able to replace that client...)
(3) Then write a list of new and Better Possible Outcomes for each challenge – ones that will definitely feel better to you should they happen… Sometimes they are only slightly better, but any tick up the vibrational scale is good! (Maybe I will surprise myself and meet the deadline… Maybe he will give me more time… Maybe the interview will go really well, what if we really hit it off…)
(4) Then, move on to something else you need to focus on in your day.
This is yet another one of those little miracle tools to attract abundance – when you actively consider and Imagine Better Outcomes to any situation you are troubled by, you can’t help but raise your vibration, and by definition, this means the outcome automatically has to be better! I like these equations… not too much work yet lots of bang for the buck! So go ahead, Imagine Better Outcomes and see what shows up in your life!
The point of this abundance exercise is to raise your vibration by taking some control back of your energy by using your imagination. Be in the moment and act as if these new and imagined (and better) opportunities really are possibilities. Try to come up with at least 3 alternative outcomes to the negative one you already have in your head…
This exercise/ technique is worth it… you change your future image and raise your vibration when you Imagine Better Outcomes.
So what gets in your way of following my invitation to Imagine Better Outcomes? From my personal and professional experience, what gets in the way is (1) fear of change, (2) bad habits, (3) fear of getting disappointed, and finally, (4) more fear of doing something new!
We know by now that the Universe hears our vibration not our words. We have all heard from Law of Attraction teachers that we will receive more of what we are “broadcasting” to the Universe. So start a new habit and Imagine Better Outcomes – you know your vibration will improve!
Remember that our thoughts are real
and carry energy…
Our vibration matters!

When we raise our vibration by focusing on something joyful, the Law of Attraction will offer us more to feel good about, which raises our vibration again and attracts even more abundance – it’s an energetic cycle! But when we are focused on something negative, we stay in resistance to abundance.
This newsletter is yet another opportunity to clear
any of your conflicts about being outrageously
abundant in every part of your life.
If you think there are any negative consequences to my invitation to Imagine Better Outcomes, please use EFT on any resistance to this abundance exercise. Ask your self the “upside” of staying where you are or the “downside” of getting what you want. Then you can treat these “yes, buts” with simple EFT sequences, change your energy, and become completely congruent with a successful life.
The benefits to your abundance picture when you Imagine Better Outcomes may be subtle but they’re powerful. Here are my favorite benefits: you allow yourself to enter into the energy of possibility, you raise your vibration, you encourage/ invite the Universe to consider alternate opportunities and, you just feel better!
As Law of Attraction teachers say — it’s all energy. The Law of Attraction sends you situations that have the same energy and vibration you are putting out… so when you start feeling inspired and acting on the picture of Better Outcomes, the Universe will bring you more opportunities that match this frequency.

The EFT SETUP Phrases for this topic are as follows:
While tapping the karate chop spot on either hand, repeat these phrases out loud, (or change the words to fit your exact situation).
“Even though I always imagine the worst possible outcome, I choose to accept who I am and how I feel.”
“Even though it doesn’t feel safe to Imagine Better Outcomes, I accept who I am and how I behave.”
“Even though I’ve had this bad habit of expecting the worst for most of my life, I deeply and completely accept myself.”
I have indicated where to tap while saying each of the phrases below. You may repeat the positive round more than once if you wish. (If you are new to EFT please view a chart of the spots on my web site under the EFT pages.)
***Now for the phrases that focus on the problem***
Eyebrow: “I have always imagined the worst… it’s who I am.”
Side of Eye: “I’m accustomed to having negative expectations.”
Under Eye: “I don’t get my hopes up when I have negative expectations.”
Nose: “What if I don’t feel safe enough to Imagine Better Outcomes?”
Chin: “I don’t believe they will come true.”
Collarbone: “I think it’s safer to imagine the worst possible outcome…”
Under Arm: “I need to think of all negative scenarios… just in case…”
Head: “It feels safer to imagine negative outcomes instead of better ones.”
***Now for the positive focus on the solution***
Eyebrow: “I might raise my vibration if I Imagine Better Outcomes.”
Side of Eye: “I’m not sure I’ll feel better if I Imagine Better Outcomes.”
Under Eye: “I want to learn how to use my imagination.”
Nose: “I intend to try this new habit and Imagine Better Outcomes.”
Chin: “I choose to release my negative expectations…”
Collarbone: “I’m ready and willing to release these negative outcomes.”
Under Arm: “I appreciate this chance to change my energy.”
Head: “I choose to release my habit of expecting the worst”
