What if envy is not proof that you are a bad person? What if it is simply showing you something you want?
I do not want you to shame yourself for feeling envy. I do not want you to pretend you are above it, either. Envy can feel uncomfortable, even irritating, but the feeling itself is not bad. What matters is what you do with it.
Let's use EFT Tapping to work with envy directly: where it lives in your body, what it brings up, and how to neutralize enough of the charge so you do not have to act from it.
When envy stays charged and unacknowledged, it can come out sideways as criticism, resentment, hostility, or passive-aggressive behavior. That is not what we want. We want to name the feeling, make space for it, and let the body calm down.
Then envy can become useful.
It may be pointing directly toward something you want, something you are ready to admit matters to you.
So instead of judging the envy, we tap on it. And then we ask: if they can have it, enjoy it, or get there, what if that means I can too?
That is the shift I want for you. Not shame. Not comparison. Not pretending.
Just more clarity, more self-trust, and more freedom to want what you want.
If this speaks to you, take a breath, tap along, and notice what your envy may be showing you about what you want.
