I’m going to give you the link for the f.r.e.e. Cheryl Richardson video where she discusses her thoughts and experiences with EFT…
But first, I want you to think about and tap about something she says in the video – that often people think tapping is “too good to be true.” I’ll have to agree that in 1996 when I was first introduced to EFT, I did think the same thing – how is this possible *and* where has this tapping technique been all my life… I bet it’s too good to be true!
So, is it? After nearly 15 years of tapping on myself and my clients all over the world, by phone and in person, I must conclude the following:
(1) EFT is definitely unbelievably “good”
(2) The results of EFT are still “true”
(3) EFT still works!
I always tell people that if and when I find a new technique, tool or method that has faster or more long lasting results than I’ve had with EFT, I will be the first to announce it to all of you. But I haven’t… so let’s get tapping.
If you want to review Cheryl Richardson’s video *before* you tap along with me, go ahead, but please come back to this newsletter for some important tapping!
Cheryl gives us tips and reminders about why this technique works and why it is *not* too good to be true!

So, as in all my newsletters, I challenge readers to look at their “yes, buts” about the topic I am writing about each week. What are your “yes, buts” about EFT and tapping? What blocks you from doing it every day, several times a day? Do you have doubts that it’s too good to be true, and therefore you don’t do it?
Possible EFT Setup Statements:
“Even though it’s too good to be true, I’m not sure it will work on me, I choose to release these sabotage patterns now…”
“Even though all these success stories can’t be true, I choose to accept myself and my skepticism now!”
“Even though it probably won’t work for me – that would be too good to be true – I choose to accept how I feel about EFT.”
Then when you tap the remaining face and body points, tap as follows:
Eyebrow: It’s too good to be true!
Side of Eye: It will never work on me.
Under Eye: It’s too good to be true.
Nose: Why even bother…
Chin: It’s too good to be true, probably a hoax!
Collarbone: Too good to be true..
Under Arm: So I’m not even going to do it!
Top of Head: Too good to be true.
Absurd, isn’t it, that because we may think it’s too good to be true, we may not try it as often as we need to or we may not be persistent with tapping.
What Blocks Keep You From Expressing
Your Talents and Gifts?
In this video clip, Cheryl Richardson also talks about how EFT can clear those blocks that get in the way of our ability to “express our talents and our gifts.” Those of you who have been tapping with me through these abundance newsletters know this is true! Here’s what I know… people who are consistent and persistent with using EFT definitely clear their blocks that keep them “from expressing their talents and gifts.”
Possible EFT Setup Statements:
“Even though I’ve been blocking my talents with fears, I release them all so I can express myself.”
“Even though I’ve been blocking the expression of my gifts and talents, I choose to clear those blocks now!”
“Even though I have many blocks to expressing my gifts and talents, I choose to release them now so I can be who I was meant to be!”
Now tap on the face and body points as usual, naming the problem during the first round, suggesting a solution during the second round.

Accept and Forgive… Accept and Forgive
Cheryl also believes that there’s a certain part of the EFT process that should not be skipped…
My favorite point that Cheryl makes in this video is that forgiveness releases energy restrictions/blockages – that a lack of self-acceptance creates energy blocks. As a result, Cheryl highly recommends using the EFT setup statement as often as possible!
Possible EFT Setup Statements:
“Even though the truth is I don’t feel very self-accepting, I choose to love and accept all of me now!”
“Even though I don’t want to accept my problems, I choose to forgive myself for so much…”
“Even though I have a hard time accepting all of me, I choose to feel accepting of me right in this moment.”
Again, complete the tapping process by tapping on the face and body while naming the problem during the first round, and suggesting a solution during the second round.
