This might sound like an odd question, I know… but please keep reading.
There is a proven step-by-step process of how to eliminate procrastination, and I’ll be teaching it in my upcoming coaching program Mastering The Yes Code. (Review all the benefits and bonuses here, because the deadline is midnight, Monday January 7th!)
I’m sure it sounded funny for me to ask: “Do you really want to eliminate procrastination…” Without thinking about it, most people would simply say: “Of course I do!”
But do you, really?
What you probably already know is that procrastination is very “expensive.” Here are just a few of the consequences of procrastinating:
- You waste time
- You leave money on the table
- You block your forward momentum
- You disrupt emotional connections
- You lower your self-esteem
- You devalue relationships
- You hurt trust…
The list could go on and on, and yet, curiously, you still procrastinate.
The reason you still procrastinate is because it protects you from something you fear. Procrastination solves some kind of problem in your life, or you wouldn’t do it. It’s that simple. It’s that maddening.
That’s the key – identifying what problem the behavior solves for you. Once you figure that out, you can clear it, and voila, you won’t “need” to procrastinate any more.
Helpful Hint #1 – Most people try to change the behavior of procrastination, and that never works. (It’s like trying to stop eating potato chips… those poor little chips aren’t the real problem.)
In my upcoming season of Mastering The Yes Code, uncovering the real reasons you procrastinate is a major part of the process – since behaviors such as procrastination always sabotage your success. (Check out the details here.)
Helpful Hint #2 – If you want to find out “why” you procrastinate, you’ll need to ask yourself one of my favorite questions – what is the upside of procrastinating? Once you get the real answer, you will be able to clear, heal or eliminate the emotional conflicts and move towards success with ease. (When you uncover the real reason you procrastinate, you’ll never look at your behavior in the same way again!)
Join me in the upcoming season of Mastering The Yes Code and learn how eliminating procrastination will literally change your life, your business, your finances and your relationships for the better.
(p.s. Remember – the deadline is midnight, January 7th.)
